Terms of Service

LAM Divorce Coaching LLC™ provides divorce coaching services designed to support clients through the emotional and logistical aspects of divorce. Coaching is not therapy, legal advice, or financial planning.

As a CDC Certified Divorce Coach®, the coach's role is to help clients think through their situation, clarify their values, and develop strategies for moving forward with intention and confidence.

Coaching services are complementary to, not replacements for, legal, financial, or mental health services. You are strongly encouraged to work with qualified professionals including an attorney, mediator, financial advisor, and/or therapist as appropriate.

Clients are solely responsible for making their own decisions and seeking appropriate professional advice for legal, financial, and medical matters.

All coaching sessions and client information are confidential, except where required by law. Coach will not disclose client information to third parties without written consent, unless legally required.

Clients must cancel or reschedule sessions at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session will result in forfeiture of that session.

Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in termination of the coaching relationship.

Payment is required upfront for coaching packages. Packages do not roll over month-to-month and must be completed within the agreed timeframe.

If the Coach terminates the coaching relationship, a full refund will be issued for all unused sessions. If the Client terminates: within 7 days of purchase, 75% of unused sessions will be refunded; between 8–30 days, 50% of unused sessions will be refunded; after 30 days, sessions are non-refundable. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours are forfeited and do not qualify for refunds.

While coaching can be transformative, results depend on the client's commitment, openness, and willingness to take action. The coach does not guarantee specific outcomes.

Coaching is not appropriate for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, active substance abuse, or domestic violence. In these cases, professional mental health or safety services should be sought immediately.

Clients agree to be on time for sessions and ready to engage authentically.

The coach agrees to be on time and to provide a private, open space that allows the client to get the most from each session.

Either the coach or client may terminate the coaching relationship at any time. Refund eligibility depends on the reason and timing of termination, as outlined in the Payment and Refund Policy.

The coach reserves the right to terminate services if the client engages in abusive, disrespectful, or illegal behavior. In the event of coach termination, a full refund will be issued for all unused sessions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAM Divorce Coaching LLC™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from coaching services.

The total liability of the coach for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where the coach is licensed to practice, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or mediation before pursuing legal action.
