About

You deserve support that sees the whole person—not just the divorce.

I'm Lesley Muir—a CDC® Certified Divorce Coach® and the founder of LAM Certified Divorce Coaching LLC.

My purpose is simple: to offer steady, nonjudgmental support while you navigate divorce, transition, and recovery-with your whole life in view, not just the legal process in front of you.

My Story

Trained for this work. Shaped by it, too.

I've been where you are. I went through my own divorce-and from the outset, I set a clear intention: not simply to get through it, but to approach it as the beginning of a new chapter.

That took patience, honesty, and difficult decisions-and over time it became the foundation for a calmer, more hopeful way forward for my whole family.

That experience led me to formal training in health coaching, and then to specialized divorce coaching education-a moment of clarity in which I knew exactly whose journey I wanted to support.

By then, it was no surprise where I'd land: a working life centered on people. Originally from Scotland, with much of my career rooted in London-across fitness, well-being, and corporate client services-the thread was always the same: warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care for each person's experience.

Today, I'm happily remarried in a big, full blended family. Living on the other side of this transition shapes how I work: I know, in practice and not just in theory, what this journey can require.

My Philosophy

The values that shape every session.

To support you through divorce in a way that strengthens your life before, during, and after the process — protecting your dignity and prioritizing your children's best interests.

Amicable

I don't take sides or amplify conflict. I help you respond in ways that keep the process as constructive as it can be.

Holistic

Divorce touches everything-home, children, work, identity. We look at the whole picture, not just the paperwork.

Practical

Warmth matters, and so does structure. Every session ends with clear, realistic next steps you can actually take.

Nonjudgmental

Whatever brought you here, and however you feel about it, you're met with warmth-never judgment.

A Different Approach

What makes this work feel different.

Steady, not reactive

When emotions run high, I help you slow down, steady yourself, and choose your next step with intention.

Led by you

Every session follows your agenda — I bring the questions, structure, and accountability that keep you moving forward.

Lived, not just learned

Certification plus my own experience of divorce, co-parenting, and a blended family-because theory alone can't hold steady with you.

APC Insured Coach — Association of Professional Coaches

My practice is grounded not only in certification, but in sustained professional development, ethical accountability, and the continued refinement of my skills.

A clear statement of scope.

Divorce coaching is supportive, not clinical. It is not legal advice, financial or tax advice, mental-health care, or therapy-and it never replaces those professionals.

I work with — never instead of — your attorney, financial professional, and therapist, helping you arrive at their offices organized, grounded, and ready to make the best use of their expertise.
