Lesley A. Muir - Divorce - Transition - Recovery Coach™ makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the information contained herein.
Your use of this website and any information provided is at your own risk.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, nor does it create an attorney-client relationship.
Divorce coaching is not a substitute for legal representation. You are solely responsible for obtaining independent legal counsel from a qualified attorney.
Laws governing divorce vary by jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to consult with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction regarding your specific legal situation.
Not Medical or Mental Health Advice
This website does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or mental health advice.
Divorce coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment.
If you are experiencing mental health concerns, depression, anxiety, or any other psychological issues, please seek help from a qualified mental health professional.
In case of emergency, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
Limitations of Coaching
A CDC Certified Divorce Coach® does not provide legal advice, negotiate settlements, or serve as a therapist.
Coaching is designed to strengthen the dispute-resolution process and support your emotional well-being during transition.
Results are not guaranteed. The effectiveness of coaching depends on your commitment, openness, and willingness to engage in the process.
Coaching is not appropriate for all situations, particularly those involving domestic violence, substance abuse, or severe mental health issues.
Client Responsibility for Worksheets
All worksheets, forms, and written materials provided during coaching are optional tools of support designed to enhance your coaching experience.
Worksheets are not compulsory. They are offered as resources to support your reflection, planning, and progress, but your participation is entirely voluntary.
If you choose to use worksheets, they are designed to be completed by the client themselves. The coach does not complete any written materials, worksheets, or forms on your behalf at any time.
If you have questions about how to complete a worksheet or what is being asked, the coach is available to answer questions and provide support, but the actual completion must be your own work.
Worksheets are tools to support your growth, but your coaching experience is not dependent on worksheet completion.
The worksheet design, structure, and format are the intellectual property of Lesley A. Muir - Divorce - Transition - Recovery Coach™. However, all content, responses, and personal information you provide within the worksheets remain your own property.
Not Financial Advice
Lesley A. Muir - Divorce - Transition - Recovery Coach™ does not provide financial advice, investment guidance, or tax planning.
While coaching may include discussions about budgeting, financial planning, and money management as part of your overall divorce transition, these conversations are educational and not professional financial advice.
You are strongly encouraged to consult with a qualified Certified Financial Advisor (CFA) or financial planner as part of your professional divorce team.
Financial decisions during and after divorce have significant long-term consequences. Seek professional financial guidance to protect your interests and ensure sound decision-making.
